HALL actions

Why don't we see as many HALL actions in the winners circle as we did in years past?
Is there any one particular reason?

I have a Hall 'J' with several 6ppc barrels. Very fine action. I am not certain Alan Hall is producing them anymore.

A friend recenly bought his second Hall action. Don't know which model but it is full dia. bolt, shorter action, put a 6-6.5x47 barrel on it.
Hall will not sell an action with the port opposite the bolt unless it is one of his full diameter models. BAT, Stiller and others do not have this restriction.
BAT, Stiller, Kelblys are all the rage, now. Folks tend to follow whatever is popular and winning.

Check out the popularity of the Hall 22RF BR action in that game. Alan has shifted his efforts in that direction. I shot a Hall M for 5 years and never had a complaint about it.

I do not think allan has made centerfire actions for years, he is concentrating on rimfire and he is aging,

they are both top notch actions I have a m

and a couple of rimfires

both are exceptional
