I just joined this forum because I was searching for information upon a rifle that I acquired several years ago and successfully used in competition in the Arizona and Nevada police olympic games. I have a Haenel Suhl mod. 150 olympic training rifle in .22 cal.that is incredably accurate at all distances with either telescopic or iron sights,a boxed iron sights kit, sling and soft carrying case and owner's manual came with it).
A member of this forum: Robert Chlapek, was writen about, in this sites' bulletin page dated 12-5-08, as an owner of one of these rifles. I would like to make contact with Mr. Chlapek and learn which manufacturer he would recommend for a restocking of this rifle. The rifle barrel, receiver and stock are in excellent original condition, however the standard stock does not quite fit me in every instance and rather than do any modifications to the original stock, which I wish to keep in original condition, I would like to restock the rifle with some custom wood. I just need a starting point and I hope Mr. Chlapek can put me there. Thank you.
