I wanna try some with 105s and wanna know where to start. The rifle is a Savage Target with a 27 in. 8 twist Benchmark.

28.5 - 29 gr. is typically a good place (depending on the lot of powder you have). Robert

Robert is on the money at that charge weight. My three lots of H4895 have all shot very well with Berger 105 VLDs but were up to .5 grain apart for the same velocity and accuracy.
