H322 how consistant in smaller cases 222-223-223AI-222m 22br etc

have never loaded h322, saw some on the shelf locally and was curious about trying it in my 222m in which I use 2015 and h4198 with 50 and 55 blitzkings.

any experience with it in these cases
you thoughts appreciated

Bob

I use it the 221, 222, 223, 222 Mag, and 6mmBR.

It is great - try it, you will not be disappointed!

I have run H322 through about eight or ten .223's, using 40 to 50 grain bullets which included Blitz Kings and was able to get decent performance with it - but not the best in any of the guns. With those weight bullets, most of the guns preferred W748, Reloader 7, LT32 and Varget (when you could pack enough of it into a case). As you know - each gun is different and yours could love nothing but H322. If I were to order powder for a gun with those parameters - I'd go with one of the others listed for sure, just due to the odds in my own experience. Most of these powders are readily available online if you look. If buying locally - maybe not. This morning, Powder Valley had all of them in stock (including H322).

Thanks for the replies, I will pick up a bottle locally to test before buying off net to save hazmet.

I am running low on h4298 and my 8# 2015 is down to the dregs - and considering which to stock up on , settle with one.

IMHO, it's a tad slow for the .222 Mag. H-335 seemed to be the accuracy powder for it when using 52 gr. match bullets. In a 6 PPC H-322 is very consistent especially in cooler temps. when it gets hotter ....it looses some that consistent performance.

for myself i would get more 2015... if you can......
VV133 is my all time favorite powder for 40-55 gr in 222 or 223 bolt guns
for accuracy and velocity
2015, rl10X, and xterminator are 2nd and 3rd and 4th for me....
322 I burned 1 lb.... was OK but not great... for me...

I'm using H322 in .223 with 80.5 gr Bergers.

I'm surprised H322 isn't too fast a power for that heavy bullet. What velocities are you getting with the 80.5 Bergers?

I use it for 55gr bullets in 223. I really like the way it meters out of my powder measure. Very consistent.
