H322 and 6mm Remington

Has anyone tried this powder with 85 Grain bullets. In my reloading book I see IMR 3031 and H322 is close to it in the burn chart.
From what I have read H322 is a great powder but theres no listing for load data with 6mm Remington and H322.

That is because H-322 is waaaaaaaay too fast burning - the ideal burning speed is a powder in the speed range of IMR or H-4350.

Try it - you'll like it!

I shot a 6mm for years in my groundhog slaying youth. Douglas barrels. 48 gr of 4831 with a 75 gr Sierra HP or 80 gr Remington HP. Very accurate but......required Magnum primers for top accuracy which in those days where 1/4 in 5 shot groups. A little history for you kids, that powder came from a large cardboard barrel. It was weighed on a scale at a cost of .50 a lb. and handed to you in a brown paper bag.

I cannot speak to the use of H322/85 gn combination.

If you are looking for loading suggestions for a propellant that is in hand, I understand.

I will say, I have had excellent results with H414 (I do recall the amount, and I'm not near my notebook) & Sierra 85 grain varmint bullets.

A good a coyote busting combination as I have ever come across. I will be buying more of both items when found.

H 322 is much faster than 3031 and I do not recommend it for use in the 6MM Remington.
