I have a quick technical question which I hope one of you can answer, if you're amenable - and I'd like to apologise in advance, as it's a non-6mm question....
I have a custom REM700 chambered in .223 which I use for varmint shooting and I am thinking of changing from my current Badger floorplate to an HS Precision floorplate with detachable mags. I like the badger plate but the blind mag is starting to drive me nuts.
The new badger floorplate is a no-go as the AI mags it uses don't come in .223,?) Do any of you know if the dimensions of the badger and HS precision floorplates are similar? I'm hoping they are as I don't want to have to fork out on a new stock if the HS precision floorplate is smaller....
Any answers/advice welcome. Thanks
