H&R Barrels

It depends on year made and what original case to what .
I rechambered a few of mine , 44 mag to 444 Marlin , 30-30 to 30/40, 22 hornet to 219 zip , all low pressure .

Do not want to raise the liability insurance , for us that pay it , anymore than it is .
I was thinking about one in 50 BMG. But someone already did that . God rest his soul .

Nope , buy a gun in that cartridge . Extractor , pressure issues , plus the labor is about what a good new Savage costs .

They are not a bad gun when spiffed up a bit . Before I stopped hunting , I had a small alum case that hd the 444 Marlin , 30/30 Ackley , 22 hornet , 20 gauge ,and 12 gauge all in one small box . I took it everywhere , not knowing what we were hunting or the county, state laws .
Accurate enough once the trigger was worked on . I had my gunshop at that time and the T Center wasn't out yet . I bought 10 sets of hammers , triggers and safety transfer bars , still have a few sets around . Still have the case of " Go anywhere set "
