Just of the phone with Hodgdon Powder. They just got a new shipment of H 4895 in and as soon as they get it packaged and shipped it will be on the shelves early winter he claims before the Holidays most likely. I didn't ask the price didn't want to be depressed the rest of the day.

Nothing. It doesn't work very good in anything. Very temp sensitive and meters horribly. Look for other more available powders and you will be happier.

H4895 is our 2206h hasn't been available for atleast 9 months but slowly coming back on to shells in Australia aswell. Glad I had a few kgs in the cave put away. Good for the 223 and works well in the 308 aswell.

I use it in all my 223 Rem's and hope I can get some, but I suspect it will be gone the minute it hits the shelves in my area since we haven't seen any in over 2 years.

Hopefully everyone wanting H4895 was able to get orders processed through Powder Valley’s website crashes! It kept telling me that it couldn’t process the order, to try again. Several email confirmations later, that proved otherwise!
