I thought $450 was bad.
I stopped at a gun shop in Newport Maine and they had 8 pounder for $450
Where did you see H-4350 for that price? On line or a local shop?

During this past summer, I don't remember exactly when, I paid $416 for an 8lb jug of H 4350 at an LGS. I was not happy with that price. I almost passed on it. Looking back, I'm glad I got it.

I use to shun Vhitavouri powders because of their high
price. In retrospect. it's much cheaper then what's going
on with other powders. However, these are surly different
times. I just scored a 8 lb jug of Accurate XMR-4064 for
$ 292 to my door.

If the price doesn't go back down to at least $240 I guess when I'm out I'm done shooting! You guys got more money than brains.

That makes two of us. Ill sell all my stuff... these prices have killed it. I refuse to pay the prices already.

I dont understand where everyones getting all this money to buy stuff up like crazy. Everyone whos bought stuff has to be on a pile buy now. Money dries up at some point.

Same goes for vehicles... after my two go, clunkers it is. Im not spending money on vehicles again either. Id rather just pay my house off early.

Shits outta control. Inflations out of control. Taxs outta control. Everythings going and gone to hail.

Easy to say, a little tougher to follow up on.

The "it's your fault for buying at these prices" crowd cracks me up - you'd fit in great with the economic geniuses we have running things now. I bet you guys quit buying everything at the moment.

Perhaps it's supply and demand along with the falling value of the dollar that drives pricing. Gas used to be .30 cents a gallon - have you been setting that out till it comes back?

Pretend nobody buys - we bring the corporation to its greedy knees. How long will that take? A year or two, maybe more. Then when they relent and put prices back everyone will rush out and buy it up. The biggest hoarders will be the aforementioned 'quit buying' crowd...and the cycle starts again.

Buy if you want, at what you think you can afford or value it at. For me, right now, $600 is too much. I'll take that $600 and buy a few pounds of beef - am I allowed to buy that?

What did you pay for 8lbs in 1980, 2000, 2020?
What was the cost of a new truck been over the same period?
Prices spike at times and then settle to a new normal. I don't like it, but hopefully the people profiting create jobs and develop better products.
