H-4350 and the 30-06.

H-4350 has been suggested as a great powder for the 155-175 grain bullets. I don't have it and can't find it. Can find AA and IMR and if I worked up loads using them would I be in the "ballpark " as far as an accuracy choice? Are they close enough to each other that they're "accuracy equivalents"? I'd like to buy 8 pounders which is why I'm asking the question OR any other super choices??

56 grains IMR 4350 with 165 grain bullet was my 30-06 recipe in a bolt rifle. Burned quite a lot of it.
Good accuracy. Don't recommend in a M1 Garand unless you want a bent op rod. 4895 is better choice for a Garand.

This is going to used in a bolt gun .

When you said 30-06, I just had to add the Garand recommendation also, just in case.
IMR 4350 is a good powder, I would not hesitate to use it in a bolt rifle.

I have a real attachment to my '03 Springfield. I shoot 150gr. HPBT Sierras in front of 56.2 gr. of IMR 4350 and power the Sierra 168gr HPBT using 54.2 gr. of IMR 4350. I don't find a lot of difference between the H4350 and IMR4350 so I rely on H4350 when I can't find the IMR
