Guys with Class

I, personally, get pretty annoyed with lowballers. Some say its just part of the deal and some think its fun. I saw a CZ457 on this site, I happened to be looking for one. The price was fair, and the wood was nice. So, I simply said, I'll take it.
Cheap asses really annoy me. I had a guy offer me $12,500 for two airplane engines that were worth at least $10,000 each. His justification was that he "knew what I paid for them" and was willing to offer me $2500 for my troubles. $2500 for driving from Colorado to California, removing the engines from an airplane, building crates to transport them, going through the entire valve train on both, including buying some parts. After 3 months of dealing with this cheapass, I finally sold him one engine for $10k. I hope to never deal with someone like that again.

I just Brought a Barrel from a member with Class .
I need it and He had it , made the sale.
Two days latter the same Type Barrel gets posted for less ,by a different seller.
I posted Deal payed more a day ago. ( I try to help with sales ).

The Man of Honor that I brought the Barrel saw the post.
He offered me my money Back .

I once worked for the Law Firm " Dowey Cheatem And How ".

Nothing at all wrong with offers of any amount, no matter how low. Also, nothing at all wrong with declining them. It's just business, neither side should take things as being personal.
Now, I do agree such offers are more appropriate in a private message than on the open forum.

I got lowballed by a member here once. I mean I was losing big on it already and got offered 1/2 my asking price. I carefully and politely explained to the them in detail about why mine was worth what I was asking and told them if they couldn't afford mine they should by all means look for other options.
Turns out the guy paid full asking and his check was signed by a billionaire.
