What kind of work do you need Done?
I have a paddle stocked stainless M77 in .223. I haven't been able to get it to shoot as accurately as I would like. I just found out that I've been using bullets that are too heavy for my 1:12 twist barrel. I've been tole that I'm going to have to scrap the 55gr bullets and try 52gr and 53gr weights. I've had remarks made about the paddle stocked rifles having difficulty with accuracy, and I'm not sure I understand that.
Is there a gunsmith who is a wizard with the M77 that can get this rifle to shoot 1/2 to 1/4 MOA without having to rebarrel it~? A new barrel is beyond what I'm willing to spend on this rifle~!!
Thanks for all who reply.
You dont stutter. lolThe best way to get a Ruger to shoot is swap it for a Remington, or a Savage, or a Winchester, or a -----.
I shoot Hornady 50 gr sx in mine and it shoots tiny little groups. I really like them, easy on fur.I have a paddle stocked stainless M77 in .223.
