Gunsmith ID?

Friend of mine acquired a Mauser with an aftermarket barrel in .22-.250. No info on it other than the marking shown in the photo.
Anyone recognize the name? Best I can decipher is C. SENKUS? Name of a gunsmith maybe? Would be in the Pennsylvania area.

I got nothing. A half hour search of C. Senkus, then C. Senk, US gunsmith in Pa.
Lots of Revolutionary War to late 1800s historical records. Not much for 1940-60.
