Gunslick bore foam?

Where did the Gunslisk bore foam go? I really liked that product. Did Hoppes buy them out? What are you folks using? Thanks Kim

Optics planet and Academy has in stock. That's what I use also!

Thanks I'll check there. Works better than wipe out and some other stuff I've tried.. at least for me.

Just checked. Out of stock at Academy and discontinued on optics planet.

I believe it was bought out by Hoppes. Half the amount, same price. I carry a can with me if I go to a local range to shot a group or two . Fill the barrel and when I get home the gun cleans up easily. When I found out it was gone I bought all I could find locally..

Used Gunslick for years...nothing better but it is no longer made. I have read reviews that say Hoppes is not as good as Gunslick but have no first hand knowledge of that. However I gave up looking for Gunslick and found a product BORE-MAX at realavid.com. It is as almost as good.

Gunslick upon a search is now a Vista Company, and as we know when Vista gets involved things go away.

I absolutely loved it and posted this awhile back.... It's been discontinued and I haven't seen any at academy in a very long time.... In my post we talked about the hoppies 9 foaming bore cleaner and people said it wasn't the same or as good.... I bought some and the new brand they have now but haven't gotten to try them yet... I am still using up the last can of gunslick foaming bore cleaner I have... Everytime I find something I really like it disappears....

Edit.... I think what I bought last time was also the bore-max.... Will try it next....
