Guns and ammo purchases on credit cards get a new code

I was reading that the code will be for the merchant. This likely means that companies like Cabelas won’t get it because they sell lots of other stuff in addition to firearms and ammo. A store that sells primarily firearms and ammo would have to use that merchant code.

I'll bet a Friday night fish supper that Cabela's will get the code. They're not going to let a company slide under the radar simply because they also sell boots and long johns in addition to guns and ammo. Law abiding gun owners are being denied our 2nd amendment rights by the Democrats at every bend in the road.

I would take you up on that bet but your stakes are way too high. Friday night fish suppers
are much too valuable to risk for anything.....especially walleye. LOL

Big box retailers will probably code in house for gun stuff.
Just like Walmart does for booze, paint, Redi-Whip.
Go ahead and flag all Walmart sales :)

Here it comes.... John

Forum Boss: ABC Says Visa, MC, and Amex will soon start using these codes.

[Visa] joins Mastercard and American Express, which also said they plan to move forward with categorizing gun shop sales.
Ok so they will have the ability to track those who use a CC to make a firearms purchase. so, will they also keep an eye on the loonies on social media?
IMO, they have it backwards track the loonies so if they try and use a CC to purchase a firearm then stop it right there. the way they will have it is to track it after the fact. is this a joke!

Imagine if visa tracked your payments at abortion providers. Libs would be burning down their HQ.

I don't understand the calls to use cash. You're filling out a 4473 AND state specific paperwork, and it's being logged at the ATF (for 'diagnostics'), but you need to pay in cash to feel better?

Seems like the road of infringement was already paved.

100% in agreement.

Elizabeth Warren and Dean(Pennsylvania) are responsible for pushing CC companies to start development of a financial DATABASE of gun/ammo retail sales. They however are not think tank level individuals. The real influence comes from Amalgamated banks and the SCIU, entities outside the U.S. directing elected representatives to follow ESG guidelines. VISA has asked why would/should CC companies be asked to CONTROL purchasing? Why would they ask that? Probably because the U.S. is the only Constitutional Republic with written private citizens firearms ownership, and as such is COUNTER to the World Economic forum and ESG agenda(both of which Democrats have aligned themselves with and are financially connected to). When will legal gun owners in America realize the democrat party is anti U.S. constitutional rights, stop voting for ANY democrat.

Many retailers allow the use of electronic checking that avoids the use of a credit card. It is a better alternative to cash since you can use it in online purchases.

Liberty and our Freedom are under attack everyday. The goal is to make the US like every other country. Once the our Freedom has been eroded, there is not another place in the world 'you' can go to regain them.

Will everything bought from BudsGUNshop be coded?
Everything from Midway, Academy, Cabelas?
Is an upper a gun that will be coded?
Anyone that uses a credit card. If you pay cash no. The banks did not want to do it but after three attempts of pressure they buckled. They claim they will use AI to stop a crime before it happens like Minitority Report Movie. The Bank CEO was very non specific on how that would work but assured it would save lives. She said it would be illegal to track people then later detailed how they would track people.

The Ai sounds like antivirus software that probably will have a ton of false warnings but some think its ok to track legal activities int he name of saving lives with software that is not written yet and no proof it was even tested or how it would work.

This guy as a pretty good RANT on the topic.

They already get your gun purchases on the background check. This is to red flag you on above normal ammo purchases in their eyes.

The real question here is: Who gets this data?

Yes, governments already have the record from the background check, but now we're giving it to private banking companies. I half wonder if this is some type of scheme to put the gun registry/log in the hands of a private company so the data can be more easily sold, since the record/data isn't directly controlled by laws and regulations that the ATF is supposed to follow - but disregards.
