Guns America

I have been led to this site a few times when looking at something that took me their. Has anyone ever bought from their before? Is this place something like Gun Broker and is it a good site?

Great site. They a just the medium to connect you to the seller. I’ve bought a couple of gun off of Gunsamerica.

I havent bought from them but I have Budsgunshop.com awsome site as well. They are legit. Sometimes its better to talk to your ffl they buy at dealer cost and mine only adds 10 percent and 25.00 ffl fee. Often his price is less than Cheaper than dirt or buds etc. Gotme a Rock River striped lower for 110.00 out the door about 2 years ago. It pays to talk to the local guys sometimes. When they are A FFL and do not have a large store front overhead some will passs on the savings.

I have never found a good deal on GunsAmerica.com

Every time I click on a google search link to a gun for sale on their site, the asking price is ridiculous so I just stay away from there now.

Although GunsAmerica has gotten into auctions somewhat, their main business is offering guns for sale. It's just like going into a gun store to look at a gun you want to buy. They post an asking price, which is expectedly on the high end, but you can negotiate, unlike an auction.

Oh. I did not know you could negotiate the price. I didn't even read into details because when I saw the asking prices, I immediately searched elsewhere

I have made at least 3 buys through them. I was happy with the results. Have your FFL lined up before hand and make sure they know what you are buying. Some won't process a transaction for a gun they can order from one of their distributors.

Of course, your experience is only going to be as good as the integrity of the seller. I've had good luck making a couple of rifle purchases there. However, I do not like the way the place is run and will always do my selling at GUNBROKER.

What's wrong?......

......The Guns America search is pitiful. That bright flashing Savage advertisment that they have been running for months now on every page is damn abnoxious and can cause eileptic fits even when your not an epileptic (yes, I'm being facetious), they allow the merchants to leave the already sold items to remain on the search list of available items, and the management can be rude. I've experienced none of these problems at Gunbroker.
