Gunroom in shop is finally done. Need to get moved in.

Eventually I will. My plan is to get the rest of my machines moved in and then build more benches around them. The benches I have in were "recycled" from my little workshop in the basement. All the iron was bought with a friend from a deceased gunsmith's widow 15 years ago. It was set up at his house and at his shop. Divorce forces relocation so all but the lathe went to storage. Now that I have room, I will put it all back together.

Recently left a tight 12' X 12' room in 1/2 bay of my shop. Closed in my existing 12' X 20' lean-to shed around back behind the shop. Sure seems nice to have the extra room to spread out and not feel cramped.

Yea that can happen rather quickly no doubt. I have installed a recliner that I now have to walk around but it sure feels good to stretch out in it after a few hours of slaving at the reloading and shooting benches. LOL.

Bearing steady rest is damn near dialed in. I ran out of time yesterday so I have a little bit of super fine adjustment to do but if I had to I could whip a thread on a piece of steel. It was a really fun project that will be really nice to have it available to work short barrels. Time to make some chips!!
