Gun vice advice

Hello, I am looking at purchasing a gun vice and was looking at two models the Total vice gunsmith vice and a Real Avid master vice. Was wondering if anybody has either one of these vices and what their thoughts are on them any info would be great

I have the master gun vise. It's nice, but it's not 300 dollars nice.

Yeah, I was thinking that,looks like a lot of plastic parts which not totally against but just seems like the way the jaw snapped in and some of the other locks are a little loose, but this is why I’m asking thank you very much

It's very solid and a good tool.. just overpriced.

Yeah, I’ve seen the reviews on. It looks solid. I’m curious to see if anybody on here is used to total vice also

I have several VersaVises that I used in various ways. There also a few specialized jaws I use on my mill vise, depending on what's needed.
