Gun Storage Solutions Rifle Rods

Has anyone had any experience with the rifle rods from Gun Storage Solutions? I'm running out of room for safes and I need more storage. Do they really work? What's your experience?

I tried some of these and they do help with organization and freeing up space for more guns. As mentioned above they are somewhat flimsy but I would buy again.

I 3D printed those racks..actually two..one for the handle and since my rods are long..a bottom one to keep everything line up.

Not exactly what the OP is asking about.

I have considered this, but don't really see it as a viable solution for a safe full of scoped rifles. Perhaps if the majority of your collection was bare rifles with only iron sights it would be helpful.

I prefer to put the stuff I don't shoot in gun socks, tucked in the back. I have had to buy more than one safe for storage.

Did you use them with scoped rifles?

They aren’t miracle workers but they definitely saved some space. 90% of the rifles in my safe are scoped if that helps.

if you alternate muzzle up and muzzle down they fit a little better. sometimes bolt open or closed.

Take the bolts out and you will have more room.. Store bolts separately.

I got some last month and I’m really happy with them. A long distance from upper shelf to muzzle can cause problems due to the flex of the rods. I made a makeshift shelf in one half of my safe to raise up my AR’s and other shorter rifles. I wasn’t able to get another gun in mine previously and these freed up an extra 40-50%. Still have to take out a gun or two to get one from the back but the extra storage is worth it.

I never considered removing the bolts. That would indeed free up some space.

Does anyone make a bolt organizer that could hang on the door?
