Can someone please give me some advise. I am in the process of building a 6XC for F-Open. I would like to Gun-Coat the action & barrel with black. Is this a good idea? I was told that the heat build-up and mirage on the black barrel would make my life hell. Is this true? Should I scrap the idea or go with it?
