Gun Belt

Just throwing this out there for anyone looking for a high quality leather gun belt made by a "Mom & Pop shop". I just received my 1.5" wide, Horsehide gun belt from A&G custom gun leather in Gainesville, GA. It is truly a "top notch" gun belt. Bullhide on the inside, horsehide on outside, double stitched (extra $10), in natural. (no dye) I did not order any stiffener sandwiched between the two hides, but he offers that option. Al is a great guy to do business with and a Veteran too boot. His lead time right now is 4 weeks, but I received mine sooner. He doesn't make holsters anymore, just belts. I have leather gun belts from other makers (not horsehide) and I am very impressed by the overall quality of this new belt.

I have two of his belts one with a stiffner. I have probably spent 15 or so years wearing them. Any double sided bull hide belt is heavy though. I may call him, I want one all horsehide.

My good friend in WV makes all my belts. I have them in elephant, Cape buff, hippo. Have holsters in the same leather. He's not a brand name, but his quality is very good, prices reasonable.
