Grunig & elmiger old receiver questions

Hi, hoping someone can help me out with a couple of questions.
I have an older (1983) Grunig round receiver rifle in 308,

I am looking for instructions to pull apart the bolt, but cannot find any information anywhere,

Also looking for a scope rail or bases to fit this receiver, anyone know of a manufacturer who makes one?

There is between bolt rear and rear plig a washer arrector bernt to enter in a notch to prevent the rear knob loosening. Punch the washer flat and the knob can be loosened and parts comes apart.

For the rail, I think the best is to get pne for any round action and have holes drilled to suit. From memory, holes spacing is .860' (21,84mm) same as many US-British actions.

Thanks for the bolt info Robert, very helpful.

The hole spacing appears to be 10mm/98mm/10mm

10mm between pairs and 98mm between centers.

I received an email from grunig saying eaw 86-0086 bases for a steyr m will fit, which I guess means Warne m810 bases will fit, I wanted a 20 moa rail but I guess I will have to settle for bases and Burris rings with inserts, unless someone knows if a rail with those hole spacing?

Jpn,
The best recommendation I can pass you is to purchase a 20MOA rail for a round action (Swing-Paramont for instance, very common in UK) and have it drilled with new holes by your smith or a friend engineer.
Do not attempt to drill the receiver, as iu is extremely tpugh.

jon , send an email to alan and dan warner ,if any body can help you out it's them . just google warner tool company inc .

I would try Chad Dixon at LRI.
When he worked for Neil Johnson in Colorado Springs he was around more than on G&E....

Thanks for all the suggestions, managed to find some Warne m810 bases that fit the receiver, only now I have to find some bolts to mount the bases, receiver is tapped m4 x 0.7 but I can't find anything with a small enough head to fit the recess in the bases.

Then my next problem, finding a new stock for it, I'm contemplating building a custom dolphin style stock out of aluminium (building myself) , budget is limited, so anyone else have any suggestions?

I've had a lot of luck mounting cup head bolts in a cordless drill & spinning them against a linishing belt or cutting wheel until they're down to the right diameter. It sometimes takes a sacrificial screw or two until you get to cut the sides square and not on a taper.
