Groundhog season has Started

Took out 5 that moved in our culvert under the highway and caused a collapse. Highway department isn’t going to like the smell of this repair.

They seem to follow each other, perhaps by smell. I constantly have them trying to live under the house. Kill one and more come. When am shooting them around the house - I go for total devastation (5.56 Varmageddon, 12 ga) because you don't want an armadillo to die under your house. The pictures are to shocking to post on the web. With the Varmageddon, it's almost like the shell contains the pressure of a hit until an explosion point is reached.
