Groundhog Carnage

Had a farmer give me permission to shoot as the 'hogs were starting to decimate the newly sprouted soybeans. Drove down into a pulloff, right below a bridge so my shots were fairly muffled. I'll have to bring the suppressed .22 back as there are a zillion pigeons roosting there. In any case, 6x45 with 87 gr. Vmax over N133 did the job. 2 kills and one probable ( this field is bordered by a river, and the blood trail led to it. Shot was a "thread the needle" through some brush.) in short order. These are young ones, big momma is still out there.

Pigeons with a supressed 25 cal PCP airgun is as much fun as groundhogs...

Nce shooting there!

6x45 & 87Vmaxs...I like your style!!!
I love this rifle! I like my AR build but this rifle is really nice.
Xcaliber barrel 1 in 8
Remington/AAC action
Timney 1 1/4# trigger
Bedded, floated and all that good stuff
Topped with a Leupold 6 x 18 VX 2 - I topped the AR with the same glass for a bit of continuity. This thing really shines with the Berger 87 VLDH bullets but I'll save those for bigger game. The Vmaxs shoot great as well.
