Grizzly Tool Benchrest stock

Basically they are like the bobby hart stock only with an aluminum bedding block made by keystone in pa.As long as you can make weight you should be fine with it. They are made just like any laminate and the fit and finish on my new one(I got a prototype) is very good in my opinion.

The colors are very nice in there stocks. I'm friends with the guy that makes them for grizzly. He told me whos blanks they are but I don't remember. There as nice and consistent as the laminates that I use in my stock business.

I'm bumping an old thread.

Anybody shooting one of these and have any comments on how they track/stay on target for the next shot?

thanks,
Jerry

If planning to compete, unless IBS rules have changed, I would want to make sure that there is enough slope on the bottom of the butt stock.

It will NOT make the IBS or NBRSA rules for buttstock angle for short range benchrest...it meets the IBS rules for light or heavy gun 600yd and 1000yd gunstocks...

I have one in blue on a Rem 40x RF that I shoot in IR5050 Unlimited so weight is not an issue. It still needs some bedding though. I also filled the slot on the bottom with Aluminum. With a bit of work it is a good stock.
