grizzly lathe help

Another place to look is craigslist for your area, I find 1-2 a month locally and occasionally milling machines. Look under tools.

Checked there too. There is a really nice rebuilt south bend 9, 3/4” spindle diameter though.
 
Hog,just sayin.....we do right much equipment/new parts painting here(big honkin spraybooth).

Catalyzed industrial enamel is the schnitz.Think ground engaged Ag equipment.....it's the ultimate test.Just got some new paint in(5 gallons).Ben Moore Corotech,Urethane Alkyd.Look up Corotech.You can beat on this with a ballpeen hammer and it just laughs it off,haha.
 
It is my understanding that Grizzlys are a little light in their bearings. South Bends are OK but some models do not have their ways hardened. Granted, this is old data. Don't know if it applies to newer machines. Now if you could find a nice Monarch in the size you want that has only been used on Sundays for about $10,000.00, you would be in business.
