As you might be able to tell in my avatar, I use them on my RPR's and have been doing so for several years. I really like them on my RPR, particularly the trigger finger rest that helps me get consistent trigger pulls. The grip is somewhat large in diameter, so if you have small hands, it may not feel good to you.Has anyone ever installed or tried a
MPA EVG (Enhanced Vertical Grip)
on their Ruger RPR?
From the photo it appears the finger rest obscures the trigger bow. My trigger finger has been industrialized a 1/4" or so and that may be a factor. Is the reach to the trigger bow affected in some way by that rest?As you might be able to tell in my avatar, I use them on my RPR's and have been doing so for several years. Installation on my Gen 2 RPR was easy and no issues. On my Gen 3.5, where there a safety lever on both sides, it took a little filing on the right side for it to release some binding on the safety. Because of this issue on a Gen 3.5, maybe the new MPA EVG has made an adjustment for this???

The reach to the trigger isn't affected and aids with proper positioning of one's finger pad onto the trigger. There's a full 1/4" distance between the plane of the finger rest and that of the trigger (my trigger being a Timney straight trigger). And as I recall, with the factory trigger, there was just as much reach. The picture in that post was at such an angle to get a good view of the fit next to the safety lever on the Gen 3.5; below being from the Gen 2.From the photo it appears the finger rest obscures the trigger bow. Lol, what does this have to do with accurate shooting or competition. I am confused. These look like the perfect addition to any LR bench rest rifle?
Much better photo. Thanks. Shows everything I need to know. The reach to the trigger isn't affected and aids with proper positioning of one's finger pad onto the trigger.
