Hello,

Some guys on another forum said this would be a good place to hang out and learn about F Class shooting and such. My name is Joe Chambers and I'm a custom 1911 pistolsmith by trade but LOVE shooting accurate rifles. It is kind of a vice if you will that gets to be enjoyed whenever I'm not at the bench or spending time with my family.

I look forward to reading, learning and asking questions. Thanks for what looks like a great place to hang out!

Thanks guys. It seems like there is a great deal of good info on here...spent several hours reading last night! HA! I think this is a place that is going to be very enjoyable for sure.

This will be my first year playing the F Class game but I know there are matches starting up just south of Omaha in May. ENGC.us is where they post the dates and such for the matches.

TheSnake, pictures of my work...well, you could google "joe chambers, pistolsmith", and that would probably give you more than you wanted to see. Or you could pic up a copy of the March/April edition of American Handgunner that I think is still on the stands for a couple of days yet (actually came out in January and will be getting replaced this month) and see some of my work on the cover. But I'll be glad to help you guys out with 1911 stuff if you need...it would be a pleasure.

Guys, thanks for the kind words. Anytime I can be of assistance don't hesitate to ask and I'll do my best to help. TheSnake, glad you were able to google. Just didn't want to step on any toes by posting my link and such since I'm new here and didn't know if that was allowed.

But so far I am enjoying reading TONS of good info! And it's great to see there are people on here that actually know what a 240NMC is as opposed to saying things like "Why not just build a .243?". LOL! Way better than many other rifle sites that have crossed my path over the years.

So thanks again guys, I look forward to learning from you! Now, back to the bench for me!
