Looking forward to seeing what’s in store for the start of the score season. Mechanicsville, VA had a great turnout for their first match with Lee Martin shooting a perfect 250-25x ( pending records committee confirmation) and GMSA is looking like a great crowd for this coming weekend! The attendance was great at both Palmetto and Rattlesnake for the start of the 600 yard season with numbers in the high 30’s several times. The 1,000 yard season is also off to a great COLD start in Montana with some spectacular scores and groups being shot in some adverse conditions! Hope to see many of you at the matches this year and looking forward to seeing what the new ranges will bring in the Northeast. Thank you to Brian Fitch and Don Cameron for getting these new ranges going. HERE WE GROW AGAIN.
Congrats to Lee. Great shooting.

Great people, atmosphere, and facilities is what you will find when attending an IBS match. From day one, people like Seth Wooten, Jim Cline, Mike Clayton, Cliff Hall, Darby Beck, and many others have welcomed us in. Last March my daughter shot her first long range match at Palmetto. We went there not knowing what to expect and a little nervous. After registration we felt as if we had been there 100 times. Fast forward to 2025. We have made every match so far and have had good days as well as days that humble us on the range. Having a 15 year old shooting brings many challenges on top of the gun being in tune, switching winds, and bright blue bird days that make the targets jump out of the scope. Many of the names listed above are there to offer words of encouragement when Annslee is having a bad match. Darby being the coach. Jim making her smile. Seth just being Seth. The IBS matches have proven to be wonderful family events. Annslee has really enjoyed shooting with her paw paw (probably her biggest supporter) and we have enjoyed time together. If you like shooting and are interested in shooting against the best, give the IBS a look. You won’t be disappointed.

A big THANK YOU to Jim Cline for all the effort he puts into making the IBS a great organization that host our matches. Also I am proud to be a member of the Rattlesnake Ranch Club with Stuart Johnson who has worked tirelessly to make it one of the best ranges on the east coast. 100 to 600 yards, 20 concrete covered, protected benches and a large inside heated cleaning area!!! 100% IBS sanctioned matches year round.
Y'all need to put Rattlesnake Ranch on your list of places to compete.

I have enjoyed the 600yd matches. Actually got a plaque or two.
It's got me impatient for score season !
Ready to go to GMSA 1,2 & 300 yd Saturday & Sunday. Bullets are loaded, gas in the truck. It's gonna be a good time!

I'm practicing my joking & ribbing & ready for good dinners with the crowd.

I know i scared off the hunter class shooters. :p That's a shame. I was gonna give y'all a chance but now that is out the window.
So at Mid Carolina In a month I'm all in !

See ya there !
Johnny,
Looks like your dream came true on beating Brock like a drum. How did the rest of the people you called out work for you?

Two more fantastic accomplishments achieved this weekend in Georgia for the start of the score season. There were two 750’s shot this weekend. That brings the total for IBS to 50 times by a select few people. Great shooting.

Been a great year so far. Sam "The Legend" Hall and I were talking the other day, and both agreed that we have probably had more fun this year than any other year we have ever shot. That's saying a lot considering Sam has played this game since it began. Average attendance has been up from the last couple years, and Rattlesnake Range's 600-yard attendance nearly doubling in attendance over the last 2 year. Looking forward to what the rest of the year has to offer. Thankful for all the work that has been put in, and thankful for all the guys who have been supporting us. Hopefully there will be more good news in the near future.

Way cool seeing humans finding and making time to gather if even for a moment.. can be more difficult at times hanging with some like minded types while forming some groups..
