Great Signs

Heard an interesting item on the 11pm local news tonight. It seems that Conroy Township, next door in Lancaster County PA, is putting up some new road signs at the Township line, and they don't beat around the bush: "Welcome to Conroy Township - This is NOT a Gun Free Zone". Several local citizens were so impressed that they offered to pay for the signs, but the Township said no, they'd foot the bill. Local reaction in the Township seems to be favorable. You gotta' love the Board of Supervisors over there - makes me want to move over to the next county. ;D

Love this! Saw an article the other day that said there are 12.6~ million residents in Pa. and 11.7~ million firearms in Pa. We all know that last number is probably wrong and on the low side.

Its about time people wake up! Thats how you keep crime in check, let them know you may not want to try robbing you!

No, unfortunately Tom Wolf is from York County, where I live. On the plus side, Wolf wasn't even close in York county in the election - he got something like 34% of the vote here. In Lancaster City you have a world class whiner with regard to firearms, anti-gun mayor Rick Gray. Last year the Legislature put some teeth in PA's Firearms Preemption law that permits any individual or group to sue municipalities that pass local firearms laws stricter than the state laws, and he's about to get his butt handed to him by the courts, at the taxpayer's expense of course, by fighting to retain those laws in Lancaster City that aren't in line with state laws. Jurisdictions that don't want to throw good money after bad are simply quietly repealing the city ordnances,

absolutely I cant think of any household (people I know) that doesn't have more guns then people living there.

I live there and wouldn't be surprised to find the number of guns more like 110.7 million, all my friends have lots of guns.
