Great shooting

A couple of very noteworthy results from the F/TR side of today's 1000 yard match at Bayou Rifles:

- Ray Weaver shot a 200-13X which, if this had been a registered match, would have beaten the national record of 200-12X (which is at least how it is listed on NRAs site). According to Ray, being the humble guy he is, this don't mean diddly since it was not a registered match but either which way a fantastic performance.

- Johnny Ingram shot an aggregate of 395 (we shoot two matches of 20 shots for record as the summer format) which means, if I am looking at the results correctly, his last 120 long-range match shots for records average 99% (394, 399 and 395). This should earn him a Long Range High Master classification in F/TR which is a very impressive feat.

Congratulations to both Johnny and Ray on these fantastic performances.

T-Rust me, these guys are some of the best in the game! Just watch them at the Nationals, in BOTH team and individual shooting!

Terrific shooting indeed, congratulations. What kind of conditions are typical at this range and were these scores shot in typical conditions?

Great shooting guys, congrats!

Ray and Johnny have been on a great run this year, wish them all the best at Nationals as well as everyone else that is going from Bayou Club. You guys have put the time and effort into getting better and its showing. I really enjoy shooting and visiting with y'all.

This range can have days where fantastic scores are shot, obvious by the recent scores posted BUT this range can be a bear at times!

Some of the worst conditions i've ever shot in for long range matches have been at this range, one day in particular comes to mind. Three years ago for the state long range championship i shot a 539/600 on day one and the leader was 550 if i remember right. 20 mph sustained winds with gust to 35 mph fishtailing from the back. Never forgot that particular day....... :o ;D

Thank you guys...

Fredrik score correction for me Sunday. I shot 194/200 for 394. Ray had the 395.

Ray's 13x was amazing.

Thanks for the input. Regardless of conditions, those are amazing scores!
