A couple of very noteworthy results from the F/TR side of today's 1000 yard match at Bayou Rifles:
- Ray Weaver shot a 200-13X which, if this had been a registered match, would have beaten the national record of 200-12X (which is at least how it is listed on NRAs site). According to Ray, being the humble guy he is, this don't mean diddly since it was not a registered match but either which way a fantastic performance.
- Johnny Ingram shot an aggregate of 395 (we shoot two matches of 20 shots for record as the summer format) which means, if I am looking at the results correctly, his last 120 long-range match shots for records average 99% (394, 399 and 395). This should earn him a Long Range High Master classification in F/TR which is a very impressive feat.
Congratulations to both Johnny and Ray on these fantastic performances.
