Great Service from Leupold Tech Service Dept.

My gunsmith recently installed a new super match grade Pac-Nor barrel on my Remington 700 action and I had worked up a couple of pretty good loads. I had the scope all dialed in for one of those loads and had a bunch of rounds reloaded and ready for prairie dog hunting. I had just finished cleaning the barrel and removed it from the cleaning vise, opened up the bipod and set the rifle on the floor. I placed another rifle in the vise and when I turned around I accidentally tipped the .17 Remington rifle over on the cement floor and the scope hit the floor really hard. I went to the range the next day to see if it was damaged and shots were hitting all over the paper. I boxed it up and sent it in to Leupold in Oregon for inspection and possible repairs. Fourteen days later the scope came back. They had disassembled the scope so they could check out every possible thing that might have been damaged or knocked out of alignment. The listed the three main thrusts of their inspeciton and said they did all those things so the scope would be in 'like new condition' when it came back to me. I installed the scope back on my Pac-Nor barreled .17 Remington and it is working in 'Like New Condition!!!

Thank you Leupold for the GREAT SERVICE. The price was right too--The only cost was the postage and insurance to get it to them.
