Great Gun Safe by Summit

I purchased a Summit safe and am extremely happy with it. I did a lot of research before making such a big purchase but I am impressed with the features of the safe. Some of the main features I was looking for in a high quality safe were; very heavy safe (>800 lbs), tall interior - mine is 60", thick wall thickness - mine is 3/16" which is way thicker than most others that are 10 or 12 gauge, solid steel door front panel - mine is 1/2", relocker, external hinges, type II UL combination lock, palusol door seals, no door gaps to pry, 1.5" stainless steel door bolts - can't be pried, bolt linkage can't be defeated by drilling and prying on linkage or bolts, the slide-out racks for rifles are fantastic for easy access to all rifles, great led lighting around the inside of the door. I purchased a Denali 6440 and it weighs about 1400 lbs. I am thrilled that I don't have to worry about the safety and security of my firearms. It was an expensive safe but when I stopped and thought about it, just one of my custom rifles costs more than the safe! Summit was a great company to work with, they have outstanding customer service - they want to make sure the customer is completely satisfied. If you are considering a high quality gun safe, I would highly recommend you give Summit a look.
