Great American Outdoor Show Videos for precision shooting.

Grimstod

Machinist, Designer, and Shooter.
I now live 20min form the The Great American Outdoor Show. I can hardly wait. Went there on Thursday when things were a little quieter. Got lots of decent footage. Audio was still hard to get but I think these are turning out pretty good.

I will put all the video into the top post so you do not have to scroll down if you do not want to read all the comments.

Re: Harrisburg Gun Show video wish list.

I live about an hour away and went last year during the week and it was PACKED! Elbow to elbow. Check out the Euro Optic booth manned by our friend Jason Baney.

Re: Harrisburg Gun Show video wish list.

I think the scenery would be better in warmer weather.. I'm still undecided if I'm going this year, weekends are packed.. I wanted to play with a Walther ppq, Been reading good reviews on them..

Re: Harrisburg Gun Show video wish list.

Really envy you guys that live near the show. My son lives in Kutztown, PA and I went with him 3 years ago - I live in Utah; wish I were closer.

Re: Harrisburg Gun Show video wish list.

My wish list is less tacitard crap.

Re: Harrisburg Gun Show video wish list.

I'm hoping to make it out. I was there last year. First time a many years. I was overwhelmed really by everything but since I got last year out of the way this year I more or less know what's there and I can go more focused. The tacticool stuff is fun to look at for a little while but yeah, it does get old, especially when it seems to over take all the firearms area.

Re: Harrisburg Gun Show video wish list.

I would like to see pictures of piles of brass and 22 rimfire!

Re: Harrisburg Gun Show video wish list.

Jon there really is usually not a pile of brass or reloading supplies there. It is usually a lot of companies promoting their products. Europtics, Nightforce, Smith and Wesson, Ruger, Remington and a whole bunch more. I believe if you go to Harrisburg Sportsmen show you can see a list of venders and Seminars that are there. Matt

Re: Harrisburg Gun Show video wish list.

Grimstod, You swing over to Lancaster and try the Amish Buffet yet? Everything was shut down when I went to the Outdoor show last year.. Apparently, Southern P.A. is crippled with a couple inches of snow..

Re: Harrisburg Gun Show video wish list.

>:( Your like the third person that has told me to go see that. :( sadly I have not been able to.
Ya the snow was really noting to sneeze at. Still my mustang drives like crap in weather like that.

Yes I will not focus on the tactical crap. I know there are usually a few guys there that have shooting schools. I will try to get them interviewed.

Re: Harrisburg Gun Show Videos for precision shooting.

My Wife took me over today for Valentines Day. The "Gun" Arena had loads of Manufacturers. As we walked down the isles I kept saying "Got that, got one of them, got that" ;D Handled Sig's 938 because one is on "The List". Trigger pull had loads of creep and I said to the guy "must have been a Friday trigger" and he just smiled. Surprised to see Barsto there and rummaged through their bins. Talked to my outfitter, Buffalo Creek Guide Service, and will most likely book a week in November. Good day with my Wife on my arm but boy was it crowded. I would say it took 1 hour to get from 81 to the parking lot to get bussed to the door!
