It won't; pressure's the same, bushed bolt or not. The point is that with a bushed FP there's little or no gap between boltface & FP for primer metal to get extruded (or worse) into.

all I know is I had a 6.5x47 barrel taken off a Tac 30 that I put on a 700 PSS and could not shoot without piercing primers,,after a trip to Rifle Co I can run the Rem action just as hard as the Stiller
