Gouge Repair

Got this on a beautiful otherwise perfect Anchutez factory stock, . Would you attempt to repair or live with it?

I wouldn't be able to live with that. If I couldn't fix it myself, it would be off to someone who could.
Too fine of a rifle to have a booger like that. Sorry for what happened to your nice Anschutz.

Is it really a gouge or is it a dent? If a dent, it can be easily repaired with a little work.

Not a dent. I've steamed those out before

If you can find Apex rifles webb sight he has a short vid. on how to fix that. This gunsmith is a back/bone doctor and does a hell of nice job building rifles check him out.
