They are the shape of a heart, wife has a thing for heart shaped things including rocks.

What is it about women and hearts??? Mine is the same way. I have a sawmill and this big white oak log came in one day. It had a branch shaped just like a heart so I used a slab and made her this:
I had to cut the bottom a little to get it to a point, but the rest is the natural shape, neat looking grain. Probably get banned again for not posting about guns, but oh well. She has been on me for the 122 years of our marriage to "carve her name in a tree"......I think it would have made better knife handles, but she's happy.
