got the first rockchuch of the year

Shot 1 last year bout this time to so its all good.Got the first coyote of the year this evening to.Im very disapointed in my 22 mag tho.It put the chuck away to hog heaven fast but the coyote was quartering to me and at about 50 yds i sent a bullet flying home.It impacted in the center of his chest and i tracked him for 200+yds till i lost his track.there was never a drop of blood on the ground.GRRR.he will die tho i hope.I wanted the coyote tho,he was a perfect 1 for skinning.O well i guess.

I like to shoot rockchucks too, but I like to let the babies pop out before I start killing a bunch. Your ruining your own sport if you don't, cause they don't reproduce fast.

here in powell butte there is no shortage of them because there is so many of the bunny lovers that like them eating in their yards cuz their,cute).There are so many rockpiles and rock fence lines with cows and houses and barns in the way so you take them when you can.So they migrate to our property and blamo. Its a continus sorce of fun.
