Got my 6.5 x 47 Lapua today

26 inch Criterion MTU little bastard brake 40 grains h4350 Lapua brass CCI 400 primers 140 grain Berger hybrid 2777 muzzle velocity ten thousands jump es 11 standard deviation 5 5 shots . groups at 100 yards 2 inches primer cratering bad ready to blow. Absolutely no E swipe on brass. I've never had a rifle shoot 2 inches at a hundred yards when first starting load development I need some CCI 450 mags primers definitely. Do CCI BR4 s have a harder cup?

I believe they both have a bit harder cup.
Primers are not going to help shrink your groups that much.
Might be something else that you have overlooked.
As simple as action screws or scope mount.

Possible I will check action screws and scope mounts but I doubt it maybe it just don't like h4350 could be seating depth forgot to mention I tried Berger hybrid 130s same powder charge and 10 thousands jump 2735 muzzle velocity got too dark could not pick up any more over crony same group 2 inches at 100 yards I'm going to try Varget tomorrow

Try backing down your load, the best accuracy is not the fastest load and if this is a new barrel you need more rounds through it before you'll find a load it likes. My best accuracy load in mine is 38.2gr of H4831sc with a CCI450 primer and 140gr Hornady HPBT at .010 jam shooting .4's at 200 yards at only 2622 fps. (30 inch barrel)

I would be extremely pissed off if I had a 30 inch barrel I was only getting 2622 muzzle velocity you should be getting at least 2850 2950 muzzle velocity with h4350 why did you choose 4831 shortcut not making fun of you I just think your missing a lot of performance.

Yes I know the barrel will speed up when I get a 150 rounds through it but I have had a lot of barrels that would shoot 5/8 on the first load I would try. Shot three and cleaned absolutely no copper shot 5 and cleaned same thing no copper shot 5 more cleaned again still no copper all my Criterion barrels never copper fouled

That's why I thought it could be a mechanical issue.
With the 47L and 6br you could just about use anything and get it to shoot better
than 1 moa
Is your brake tight? Just throwing stuff out. Maybe take off and see if that might help.
Bore scope the barrel if possible.

Why? Can only shoot 300 yards and accuracy is king in what we do, it takes 5 shot in 1 inch to win our 300yd varmint match. I can drive them way faster but the faster they go the less accurate they get (at that distance). I do have a load for the 123gr bullets that is 3022fps and those group under 1/2 inch at 200 yards but so far I have only been able to get the Lapua Scenar's to do that. That powder choice is because when your downloading rounds you need to keep the case near capacity so you go with slower powder to use more of it. I have also shot this slow load out to 750 yards and was easily hitting a 4 inch and 6 inch steel plate at 550yds and a 10 inch at 750yds and the 10 inch plate we was finding shot groups of around 4-6 inches on the plate,... works for me. I also run H1000 in my 6mm Creedmoor.
