I absolutely love the looks of Western style grip, but I'm horrible at shooting them. Never fit my hand correctly and slip upon firing.

The slip is actually helpful if shooting a hot load in a single action. It avoids the painful hit between the thumb and index finger when shooting a hot load in a double action revolver.
