No. It's only designed for desktop use
You can only run it on windowzzz. I just ran it from a flash drive for 2-3 years. That way its very easy, no instillation as such required. Just plug in the flash drive, open the app and away you go.
However if you did what I did and transition to Lunux you will likely lose it. The work around for me is my grandsons windowzzz laptop.
There is a lot of info out there that says it will run on Linux, that was NOT my experience.
The new version, if it is ever finished/released will supposedly run on linux??

NO. They are working on versions for that purpose but they aren't completed yet.
I run the Linux version which is the windows version adapted to run under Linux.
The NexGen version under development will be able to run on apple, windows, Linux and an app for smartphones and tablets. I don't know when they will be finished.
There is a Linux version available for download. I use it myself

Im running mine under Linux Mint for debian or obuntu and have no issues. I dont know enough about linux commands to help. Sorry. Charlie on the gordons discord can likely help as he is the one who adapted the windows version to run under linux. He is most knowledgeable.
Make sure you have all the required 32-bit libraries installed. When I get back to my computer I can look, but there should be a “requirements” file that lists everything that is required. A few years back, Ubuntu pulled the 32 bit libraries from the OS and you have to install them if you need them.
