Gordon's Reloading Tool vs. Quickload?

Using just the values in GRT, I get 53,990 psi with a PRC 300 chamber, Hornady 212 ELDX, case volume 96 grains, cartridge length 3.7 inches at 70 degrees F and 76 gains of RE 26.

What case volume, bullet length, temperature and cartridge length did you use?

Case volume: 96.42 Lapua brass
Bullet length: 1.6 in
Cartridge length: 3.650 in
70 degrees F
Speed over Labrador 3 shots Ave 2903 ES 11 SD 6.1 group was 0.245in at 100yrds

OBT using Gordon's Reloading Tool (GRT)

With those measurements/conditions, GRT is showing me a max pressure of 55274 and a MV of 2882 out of a 26" barrel. If your barrel is 26", that's dead nuts on from my experience with GRT.

I have never used QL. But, from the few discussions I've seen, the results were reported to have tracked as well as could be expected. Nothing like 5000 psi difference.

If it were me, I'd check what your friend is entering into QL - or, maybe someone here could check.
