Good value AR 10 barrels

I agree, I just pulled a 308 barrel for a bud & replaced it with a 20" Faxon 6.5 C. My suggestion is to get another matching upper so you can switch them out. That's my solution. And Wilson Arms makes really good barrels as well, but they don't sell 1 at a time. Many good barrel manufacturers, too little time to shoot all of them.

You can't go wrong with a Bartlein. One of the best in the business. Running 2 of them myself, one in .223 the other in 308.

my buddy bought a Larue in Creed. He wasn’t happy with groups, we tried several load combinations and factory ammo.
It stayed between 1-1/2 to 2MOA. He was going to return the upper and I spotted a used Bartlein. He bought it and I was amazed! I watched him put 5 in 2” at 500 yards! Do we expect that every time? Nope, but if he has a poor group, he is more likely to blame himself. For $460, I’d be jumping!

My bone stock DPMS 308 varmint barrel that came with my Gen 2 will shoot just as well if not better than my custom Bartlein in 243.

Barrel is ordered. X-Caliber has some good deals on in stock items. We're doing a stainless 18" 6.5 CM with rifle gas. $286 shipped.
