so, I got this railgun project underway the last couple months. Just waiting on my Bartlein barrel. I am at the point where I need the light weight Bergers for my 6mm.

Jim Pag shows an ad for eleven boxes of 68gr, one lot, bullets at a very nice price. Issue, I would be a month out on paying him. I PM him and ask if he would mind holding them. No problem, he says. I send him half the $$$, and he sends me the bullets. Just sent the other half $$$ a few minutes ago.

I am pleased that my reputation here is worthy of such trust. JP is a wonderful human being, and a credit to this forum.

Thanks for the plug Rich but get the story straight. I sent you the bullets before I got any money. LOL! If I didn't trust you I wouldn't have sent the stuff. I've done that a lot on this site. One day I'm going to get burned, but so far each and every person that I bought or sold stuff from has been great. Most shooters in general are good guy's as we all well know.

I've had some good dealings here myself. I've gotten things for free before and was sent stuff before my payment was ever received on some other deals. I've done my best to reciprocate in similar fashion when appropriate. Some good people here.

+1 for Jim. When I was looking to get into BR I reached out for some guidance, He, as well as a couple others, reached out. Also, at the time I didn't have the cash together to buy a rifle that Jim had. He said no problem, even told me to come get it anytime, pay him later. I wasn't comfortable with that & ended up waiting a few months. Something he certainly didn't have to do! Great guy!

I have been doing the same with my primer catchers for almost 4 years now - if somebody wants to pay later, or by check or simply wants to see that it is a real deal, I send the catchers before having the money in hands - our shooting/reloading community seems to be really, really trustworthy - in all the years, I only had a single person (young kid from NY) not paying.

Well I can honestly say that there was only one person on this site who I thought was a real dirt bag and that was Mike Suissi aka Tacshooter. I know a lot of you out there will remember this bozo. That sob I wish gets wasted by someone. A real piece of work. He was eventually kicked off this site. His own lawyer ended up suing him. He was a real douche bag POS.

This is also the guy that took me for 200 pieces of brass. I too send my brass out before payment is sent. Been burned 2 times..... But I still like this community and will not change my practices because of a couple bad apples.

I have done the same thing myself for people and it always worked out. That is because we for the most part have people with good morals and they carry through. That's why I am a gold member. This site is the best.

+1 Again! Yesterday I texted Jim in search of some double screw dovetail rings. He had some but was on the road already.He turned around, went back & got them & I was able to get them at the match. Jim has always gone above & beyond for me. Thanks Jim!

I wish u would of thanked me in a different way Keith instead of beating me with my old rifle at 200 yards and the grand agg. I got used as they say in Maine "SOME HARD". LOL. Congrats at staying clean at 200.
