I agree, if the ammo/firearms manufacturers simply stopped selling ammo and firearms to the states that are causing a ruckus the problem would be solved in short order.

They (Firearm and Ammo manufacturers) wouldn't want to punish those citizens living in those states but it would have an impact on state entities. What would happen if the State police, NYPD, etc. couldn't buy new guns or ammunition?

My hunch is a lot more than are affected by so-called gun violence on the part of orherwise law-abiding citizens....

Unfortunately, the situation in NY state is a dire one. Downstate (the 5 boroughs and Westchester County), Buffalo and Albany contain the majority of the population by a bunch and these areas vote solidly with 'the enemy'. You could catch a Democrat on video stumbling out of a methadone clinic, pockets stuffed with child porn and kicking a puppy and the Democrat will still win. General conditions have to get worse before they get better in states like that.

Man, I'm glad I'm out of there. And, lest I forget, I salute the Hornady crew, Serbu and any other organization that gives single-minded bullies like Cuomo some gas right back.

I wrote to DiNapoli, who oversees my reirement fund. Told him that not only was I taking it out of NYS, I was spending it on guns and ammo sold in PA.

Yes it is many times more than firearms. Granted I bet both would go down if they just made it illegal for anyone but a DR to use narcan and only when the hospital staff caused the overdose.

when I ran the procurment for my county, we ordered 50,000 rounds of 40SW, 4k of Federal GM 308, 2000 40 SW duty, 20k of 223 every 12 to 18 months. we only had 120 employees to train. NOTHING like NYC. Not a lot, and not Hornady at that time, but since I left they went to Hornady for duty round. If Federal and others did the same as Steve (fat chance) it would spank NY.

I was under the assumption gun makers and ammo mfg's sold to distributors on things that reach our level. Government contracts may be a whole different story
