good bullet weight for 100 yards

I am in the process of doing a 6BR build. I'm using a Savage action and getting an 8 twist McGowen barrel. The majority of my shooting will be at 100 yards punching paper but I will occasionally go down to Williamsport and shoot it at 1000 yards. I'm used to a 204 Ruger where you have basically 3 different bullet weights. With so many different bullets weights in 6mm I'm kind of at a loss where to start. What bullet weights would you recommend I try out?

For short range work, the 80 grain Berger is hard to beat. It's been very accurate in all of my rifles.

IN my 8 twist barrels the 105 VLD, the 108 BT and the 107 Sierra all have shot good at 100 yards. Many 5 shot groups under .250. Matt
