I'm going to be getting a Golden Eagle sometime and am contemplating the reticle options.
Can folks comment on what they have and whether they like it or not?
To elaborate on how I'll be using it: I don't yet compete in F-Class but I'm not closing the door to possibly doing so in the future. This scope is going on a straight .284 I just took delivery of. I go to the Whittington Center somewhat frequently and spend time on their 1,000 yd range - but will also be using it on their High Power Silhouette range....which also has the buffalo at 1,100 yds.
I'm trying to think through having the "busy-ness" (i.e. "clutter") of the ECR-1 but along with that the benefit of MOA markings right on the reticle. Versus the clean lines of the SCR-1. In past experience oftentimes reticle markings are not as visible when on target as they appear in the white background images shown by the scope manufacturer.
Thanks!
