Gold Member's First Give Away

Since it was posted that the Tip area was not an area for comments, I will comment here. I became a Gold Member on this site because I believe in supporting those sites that provide me with knowledge, classifieds and other things, that I find here. As a Nubie to this game, I am a Net Receiver of Tips and could not provide any tips that are worthy or winning a contest against the guys on the site that I am learning from.

I hope that winners of future Give-Aways may not be based only on their knowledge of the sport and more on the fact that they are supporting the site. I would like to see a good healthy mix of how the Give Away winners were picked.

Bob,
Trust me, even as a newbie, you actually can provide may useful tips. Newcomers to the sport often have a very fresh perspective. You also can start from a "Clean Slate". Your tip could be "The three most common questions new shooters encounter", for example.

The contest was not intended to be an advanced reloading clinic. For example, one of the first tips was advice on plugging the barrel and letting your Wipe-Out Foam work while you're driving home. That was a simple tip, but I know some guys hadn't thought of it.

Every Gold member, no matter what his or her expertise, has something to offer.

And I will add that a site noob isn't necessarily a noob to the sport. Just means he/she recently joined the site.

I was a site supporter prior to the new policy, so I truly understand supporting the site, which I would have done regardless. Who knows maybe I can come up with something.
