Going to take a while to live this match down

My girlfriend wanted to try a benchrest match. So today we went to a 600 yard club match and she used my f class rig. 6 dasher Barnard with Bart’s hammers.
The wind was a major factor today. 15-30 mph switching every 30 seconds or so.
Not only did she beat me she carried the match with 28 competitors in small group/agg.
Time to retire from shooting I think.

When you get past the fact that she out shot you. As already stated, she is a lovely lady and a fine shot. Having someone to share your hobbies with is a wonderful thing.

I'm never surprised to see women do well in the shooting sports. I've seen it time & time again. If I had to guess why it because they don't over analyze things.

I'm not at all surprised that the shooter is a good woman or that the woman is a good shooter. The sport of shooting, especially rifle shooting, is one of the most equal sports there is for man, woman and child; even the physically challenged.
My wife's favorite to shoot has been the suppressed MP5 with the "wide open" switch on.
